Price more important than size in choosing a student room
Students find the price the most important when choosing a student room. The distance to the campus or to the city center are only fifth and sixth on the list of important factors.
The students are also not willing to share a bathroom and a kitchen with other students. This is shown in a survey conveyed by WonenBreburg among 667 students from Tilburg and Breda.
A total of nine housing characteristics were examined. Here in the order of importance:
1. Price
2. Size
3. Kitchen
4. Bathroom
5. Cycling time to the city center
6. Cycling time to campus
7. Space outside
8. Distance to supermarket
9. Distance to park
