Dutch scientists well paid
In comparison to scientists from other countries, the Dutch ones earn quite well. With an average gross monthly salary of $ 5313 they are in the ninth place worldwide, according to the Times Higher Education.
Canadian scientists are paid the most ($ 7,196), followed by Italian scientists (€ 6955) and South African researchers ($ 6,531). Those are the results of a study done by the U.S. Boston College and the Russian Higher School of Economics.
