Univers wins an award for the best cover

The cover of  “Food for psychologists” Univers (November 2011) with a caricature of former university professor Diederik Stapel on the front, has been voted the best cover of a university and college magazine of the past year.

Univers editor Francine Bardoel received the award presented at the annual Kringcongres, a meeting of all editorial teams of magazines in higher education. Visitors to the Congress could vote on the cover.

Punt, the magazine of Avans, took a second place in the election, Folia (University of Amsterdam/ University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam) was third.

The cover was created by a freelance art director Pascal Tieman. He won the award in the past, often with covers he made for Folia and Havana.
