Dirty hazing at Minerva
An initiation of the Leiden student fraternity Minerva on the streets was filmed by a journalist from the Leiden newspaper. Although some members of the fraternity tried to stop him, there is still a great deal online.
The argument with the journalist didn’t stop the dirty ritual. The ladies were rubbed with ketchup and chocolate sprinkles. The candidates were blindfolded, and were wearing a diaper and ridiculous clothes. Minerva has naturally distanced itself from the tasteless inauguration, because the university doesn’t subsidize student associations who break the “No Hazing” rule.
Update: All those involved in the hazing are suspended until the summer, according to de Stentor .
