Van Oorschot leaves TiU

Hein van Oorschot, Chairman of the Executive Board, will leave the university. From September 1st he will be President of the College of Management at the NHTV in Breda, an international higher education institution with 7000 students.

Van Oorschot was chairman of the university since 2004. During his time Van Oorschot was responsible for strategic positioning, students and staff members, finance, budget cuts, construction and facility management.

The NHTV seeks formal recognition for its role as a hybrid institution of higher education. It is a medium educational institution that offers both HBO and university education. They offer education at college level in the following fields: Facility, Gaming, Hotel, Logistics, Media, Transportation, Urban Planning, Tourism and Leisure. At university level the NHTV offers courses in leisure studies.
