Record for Summer School

230 students have applied for this year’s Tilburg University Summer School.105 of them come for abroad, a record.

Some 52 countries will be represented. This represents a 20 procent jump in international enrolments. New courses for PhD students on statelessness and on the labor market and social security are proving popular.

This is the fourth year in which Tilburg University will be offering summer courses, including language ??courses in English, Dutch, Spanish and other languages. The Summer School also features a growing range of non-language courses: philosophy, mathematics, research methods and statistics, international entrepreneurship and others. The courses are meant for prospective students, PhD students and other interested parties. Enrolments are growing steadily year by year.

In addition to the formal coursework, the students of Tilburg University Summer School can also participate in an extensive program of activities including sports, a pub quiz and excursions to Amsterdam and The Hague. The activities program has been dubbed ‘Serious Fun’.
