Cobbenhagen Museum at TiU
It’s possible that TiU will soon be home to a Cobbenhagen museum. This museum will show the history of the university. There will be a Graduation Wall, several expositions, movie material, pictures, art and silverware.
Paul Hoeijmans, head of Real Estate Management at TiU and member of the Art committee is examining the possibilities. “The little foyer near the glass corridor in the Cobbenhagen building is currently being used as a room for drinks and presentations, but its appearance is plain. This can be improved. With a museum you can position TiU better and also strengthen the bonds with alumni. TiU has a lot of material with great historical value, such as the chain of office from the first rector and the education manifesto of Marinus Cobbenhagen. It is time to show them to the public”.
