Holidays at Tilburg University
Although primary and secondary schools are closed from the 27th of April until the 5th of May, the university is mostly open during this time. This has led to some confusion.
On the 29th of April the university is open, but this was caused by a mistake. On the 4th of May there will be a two-minute silence at eight o’clock in commemoration of the dead, but the university is also open as usual.
The university and the library are closed on Queen’s day (the 30th of April). On liberation day, the 5th of May, the university will be closed, but the library will be open from ten o’clock until six o’clock. The 9th and 10th of May the entire university is closed.
