Katerina Blogs: Bursting bubbles
As my mom says, a student has only one job; studying. But since we cannot remain students forever (I hope!), we have to come up with the next ‘big’ thing. I know for fact that it is stressful and at times frustrating when suddenly you have to break out of the protective bubble of the university into the ‘real’ world. But we can do it! As a lot of others have done it in the past! All we need is positive energy, self-confidence and ok, some luck.
Talking about protective bubbles, I hope you have survived the hordes of Queen’s / King’s Day. It was fun for sure! But I have to admit, a bit confusing…Was it Queen’s Day? Was it King’s Day? Was it just coronation day? Who knows…As long as there was something orange, something new, something borrowed, something brewed (like beer), it was fine!
By the way, is summer really here? From the little that I know about dutch weather, I feel that it is insanely warm! Of course my Greek visitor last week was freezing, but still. Even though, I don’t want to get my hopes too high it’s great! Spring’s here and we’ve earned it! So go ahead and burst some bubbles.
