International students love the Netherlands

Studyportals has recently published some interesting results of their study into international student satisfaction. The results were based on the comments of no less than 17,000 students which were sourced from a platform for student experience exchange, STeXX.eu

The results show that the Netherlands performs well among international students. It seems that our bad weather does not diminish the student experience, since the Netherlands shares fourth place with the UK and Switzerland, and is awarded an 8.8 grade. We will have to put in some extra effort if we want to beat Austria though, which tops the list with a 9.1.

Studyportals will publish more results next week, which will show how well individual educational institutes score. The University of Groningen has already stated on Wednesday that they scored highest among the Dutch educational institutes. So, we’ll just have to wait and see how well Tilburg University does.
