Become Tilburg University’s campus poet
A new year, a new Campus Poet! In January 2014, Bob Kapteijns was elected as the youngest Campus Poet ever. During the year he performed at several events, but now the time has come to pass down his title to a new aspiring poet. Tilburg University students and employees can join the competition by sending in their poems before the 19th of January 2015.
4th Dimension
I think that passing is the word
an echo behind space, unheard
where there’s no morning to the night
high means low, and left is right;
no single cue there could address
the senses you have left on Earth.
When mass itself deforms and empties
just one dimension’s formed to last;
as time is passing through our bodies
at last, released from Earthly boundaries
we’re resounding into endlessness
Bob Kapteijns, Campus Poet 2014
