If I want to talk to my family, friends, the people that I love, I sit and talk with them on a small screen. A few months ago, they were still bodies in real life. It was reality.Ammar Alkhatib is a photographer from Damascus, Syria. He lost his Nikon to the waves of the sea he crossed to reach safer ground. With the new camera he got from his Dutch friend Jesse, Ammar now captures his new life in Tilburg.
