Katerina Blogs: Signs from beyond
Today it snowed. And I was not prepared for this. It’s just too soon! Deep inside, I think it was a sign from god or something. It was the first time in this unit that I was actually on time for my early 08:45 lecture. And it snowed. And I was not prepared.
I think I never will be. The irony is that I woke up quite early and for the first time I experienced how 7.30 in the morning looks like. (Spoiler alert: It looks dark!). And I wondered: “Should I take my sunglasses? Will it be sunny? Should I bring my umbrella? Will it be rainy?”. In the end I decided to go for umbrella. And the moment I stepped out it started! I wanted to call people back in Greece and tell them to stop whining about the 14 degrees cold wave “hitting” them!
That was pretty much the highlight of my day. Me taking pictures of the snow from P building, evidence for my friends to see. I must say, the definition of entertainment for a masters student striving with deadlines and SPSS is very relative.
And also, I should think twice before I make it on time for my early lecture again. You never know…
