Katerina Blogs: New beginnings

I remember an old commercial saying “the end is near”. This is a strange thing to be said in a commercial but it fits perfectly at this moment. My student life is soon to be over and something new is about to begin.

But since, at least in my case, things do not always follow the natural order; the end and the beginning are somehow over lapping. It is like 4 months all condensed in two weeks: a lot of changes, exciting ones, even though sometimes they bring the stress of the unknown.

What I have realized though is that I am a lot more independent than I thought. But I have to admit, there have been times when I said to myself “I want my mommy!”. Luckily, the voice of logic prevailed and instead of calling my mom I dealt with whatever I had to deal on my own *independent-woman high five*.

The point is, that things might seem a bit scary when you finish your studies and all of a sudden there are changes, and decisions and so on. But you know what? It’s all for the best! Whatever it is, we can do this!
