Asian education is best

Asian education is the best worldwide. Numbers from PISA 2012, a worldwide research among 15-year old pupils, show that Shanghai scores best on all aspects. The best European country is Finland. Their education system comes in ninth.

Three years ago, Finland was still the third runner-up for the title. Researches investigate how pupils score on math, reading and science. Other European countries in the top ten are Estonia and Poland. The Netherlands have to settle for a mere thirteenth place.

PISA-results are respected worldwide as an important measure for the quality of education.  Sixty-five countries  have joined in the research this year. Countries that score well on the ranking are attractive to teachers and education directors.
