Another year of study finance in master
Minister of Education Jet Bussemaker has to redesign her plan for abolishing student finance in the master. Yesterday, the original plan was not approved by the other parties.
Bussemaker wanted to turn student finance into a loan, starting 1 September 2014. The student finance in the bachelor phase would follow shortly after that, on 1 September 2015. The plan she wrote for this, still needed work, according to most of the other parties.
Student organisations react relieved. The only concern right now is that there is still no clarity about the matter, and students still have to make choices based on information that might change in the future.
