Six students selected for Asian Summerschool
Attending courses at four excellent Asian universities and joining a project with top-notch business partners… Dream or reality? Reality it is for six Tilburg University students that have been selected for the Netherlands-Asia Honours Summerschool (NAHSS).
IBA students Alexander Beenen, Cas Verhagen and Donna Schut, Ivo van Well (Economics, Jim Vervuurt (Bedrijfseconomie) and Delicia de Jong (Communications and Information Sciences) are part of a group of 100 Dutch university students who will join a unique summer program in Asia. In July and August they will attend courses at universities in Beijing (PKU), Hong Kong (CUHK), Shanghai (Fudan University) and Taipei (NCCU). Several business visits will provide insight into the strong network of Dutch and Asian institutions.
Furthermore, they will work on a project in close collaboration with a NAHSS partner in a multidisciplinary team of students. The rigorous selection contained, among other criteria, a short video in which the students pitched why they should be selected as a participant.
