Changes in TOP week
The TOP week will be a little different this year. A special activity will be organized for master students and the program for Wednesday starts with a brunch. FOSST night, is back and the the city festival is still there, but in a different form. Associations will no longer get a market stand, but an empty place that they can use the way they want to.
Iris Langedijk, vice president of the TOP board: “We want to make it more interactive. People thought the festival was a bit dull and stayed away. Introduction students should be able to do something fun, we don’t want people to just hand out some flyers.”
On Tuesday afternoon, master students get a tour in the La Trappe brewery. There is a beer cantus on Wednesday, but students that are under 18 will get an alternative program. They will go bowling and laser gaming in Voltage. For international students, there is a program next to the ‘normal’ program. On Monday, they will meet their exchange coordinator, get a campus tour, and get some academic preparation. On Tuesday and Thursday, there will be more workshops, and after that exchange students will go along with the regular program. On Friday, immigration sessions, TBC screenings and course enrollments are planned before the end party.
