Then this week’s guide might just be the thing you need. In honor of valentine’s day, here are several of the best places to date in the city.
Fresh breeze
Are you an outdoor couple? Do you enjoy long walks and picnics in the park? Then there is plenty on offer here in Tilburg for you. Let’ start with the Warande forest behind the university. It’s not very big but perfect for a quick little romantic walk in between classes. If you are looking for a great picnic location then you should check out the Leijpark. You can find this park on the outskirts of the city. It is a beautiful location for a romantic stroll or a peaceful picnic.
Space for two
Are you looking for some more privacy to really get to know your date without too much hustle around? Then café Dorstige Hert will probably suit you just fine. It has a cozy and warm atmosphere without the usual crowdedness of a café. Another great place for a calm first date is Mugs & Muffins near the city center. Here you can enjoy a variety of coffee and tea specialties in a snug and cozy atmosphere. The coffee bar feels very homely and is usually not very crowded.
Action time
If you want to make your date more of an adventure, then you have plenty options to choose from. For example, you could do an indoor climbing session where you really learn to trust each other. Or you could do an ice skating session together. Who knows, maybe the next stop for you will be the couple’s figure skating competition at the Olympics. And if you really want to take your date on a next level, how about a balloon ride? You would literally bring your love life to new heights.
