Tilburg University: a small organization with flex workers
Tilburg University is changing her staff policy. The university wants to become a small organization with flex workers attached to the university. “In this way we can respond to developments in the market”, a spokesman said to the Dutch press agency ANP.
The idea of a small organization with flex workers is not new, more companies are working this way. However, it is new that the Executive Board is embracing this idea. According to the personnel department, the policy still has to be devised: how? where? and how fast?
In his New Year speech, Koen Becking, Chairman of the Executive Board, already spoke of economizing.
